Jean Gadsby Dip.RSA, has been a practising Accountant for 30 years, and has run her own business for the past 20.
She was voted ''Most Inspirational Woman of the Year 2009''
She has dealt with all aspects of Self Employment , from start-ups, to preparing Profit and Loss Accounts and Balance Sheets, cash flow projections, dealing with the Inland Revenue and Customs and Excise, and Inland Revenue Investigations.
She has held numerous Public Sector Board Positions, such as a Director of Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, The Royal Liverpool philharmonic Orchestra, National Lottery Community Fund , Chair of the Good Causes Panel, Liverpool City Challenge and BAFTA.
She has essential experience in specific area of business forward planning, and has a common sense attitude to working with clients in areas of problem solving. Her expertise lies within small Businesses, Sole traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
She is a fully accredited SFEDI Business Advisor.
She is also a Verifier for Liverpool John Moores University on the WOW [World of Work] Programme.
She is a Board Member of the North West Women's Enterprise Forum, setting the strategic agenda for Womens Enterprise in the North West.
As a Director of Women In Business, she is the Organiser of the Merseyside Woman of the Year Awards.
This is the biggest event for Women on Merseyside, and rewards Women from all walks of life.
